It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to be featured in House & Home and I’m beyond thrilled that Project Hanna, one of my favourite transformations to date, made that dream a reality. This small but mighty condo was stripped down to its studs, with no detail left unthought of in making it feel both luxurious and deeply liveable.
Designed as a pied-à-terre for my client, a place to unwind after long workdays or spend weekends downtown with his kids, every inch was carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming retreat that feels anything but condo-like.
SHOP THE LOOK:
One of the biggest transformations? The bathroom. Originally weighed down by a drop ceiling, we removed it entirely, taking full advantage of the condo’s sky-high ceilings. The result? A space that feels open, elevated, and far more indulgent. Proof that even the smallest tweaks can have the biggest impact.
The kitchen also saw a major makeover, with a bumped-out peninsula, panel-ready appliances, and all the condo-sized bells and whistles to make it truly sing. And one of my favourite details? Transforming the tiny, barely used den into a cozy bunk room, a perfect little escape that now feels infinitely more useable.
Elsewhere, thoughtful storage, soft textures, and a warm, layered palette helped turn what could have felt like a generic condo into a deeply personal, cozy retreat. Seeing this project in House & Home is truly a pinch-me moment, but more than that, I’m just so happy my client has a space that feels like a home away from home.
I’ll be sharing more details about this project in the coming weeks but for now, here’s a peek at the full reveal.
