For smaller spaces, a 5′ x 8′ or 6′ x 9′ rug is recommended. Ensure the rug is large enough to fit all four legs of your coffee table.

For larger rooms, choose a rug between 6′ x 9′ and 8′ x 10′. Ensure either the front legs of your sofa are on the rug or all four legs rest on it.

For framing furniture in a large room, a 9′ x 12′ or larger rug is recommended, leaving 12″ – 18″ of floor space around it if possible.
